Gluten/Wheat/Coeliac

We are very pleased to be able to cook fish and chips for people suffering from wheat allergies.

Please let us know and we will hand-make a batter using gram flour, egg and water, with which to fry your fish or other items from our product range. For example, vegetables or burgers.

We then fry your food in peanut oil, separately, so that there is no cross contamination.
We also have a limited range sweets, cakes and puds for those suffering from this allergy.

Peanuts

The oil we use for cooking is 100% pure peanut (groundnut) oil.

This product comes to us with no allergy warnings on the containers but, we have contacted the National Edible Oil Distributors Association...

There is no evidence that refined peanut oil does harm allergy suffers, however, suffers or their parents must make their own assessment of the risks.

We have a variety of other products on our menu that do not contain nuts and that are not cooked in peanut oil.
